this took longer than expected but was very fun! Ghost is very subtle, it was fun to work on

Hornet also took me a while :’D but honestly this was very good practice, she normally doesn’t reach this range with my works…I should strive to draw more expressions

Grand Mother Silk overlooks Silk and Pre-Unraveled Phantom. She croons, 'my daughters...my beautiful daughters... Phantom looks up and says 'Mother, I have been thinking. I wish to use differing pronouns. Grand Mother Silk is silent as Phantom continues, 'I will still be your child, oh Silken Mother-' Grand Mother Silk shoots a giant laser from her face directly at Phantom.

Hornet Gijinka, seeing a Choral Commandment. She begins to approach, thinking of seeling it. The Choral Commandment is covered in yaoi doodles of her and lace. Hornet looks horrified and disgusted and takes 2 damage. Lace, smiling, turns to face Hornet and says 'Oho! The Little Spider clambers up the water sp-' but is interrupted by Hornet showing her the commandment. Lace grows pale and silent.

The Green Prince sits by the cogwork dancer, telling Hornet 'No more talk, warrior. permit me this final moment of memorial. Hornet says 'as you wish, sir, I will disturb you no longer.' In the next panel, Hornet has not moved, and is playing her needolin. There is an arrow pointing to her labeled 'NOT LEAVING'. Green Prince looks annoyed. The Green Prince, looking annoyed, has an arrow pointing from him and pointing at Hornet labeled 'leave me the fuck alone'. Hornet also has an arrow pointing away from her and towards the Green Prince, labeled with 'genuinely curious + trying to relate and connect Hornet, from offscreen, says 'you know, I am something of royalty myself' to which the Green Prince looks surprised. In the next panel we see hornet dirty and covered in maggots. The Green Prince, not convinced, says 'uh-huh.'

I love the Green Prince. I think itd be very funny if he just didn’t like Hornet whatsoever.

notes and design for weaver stew, a fake stew made from roasted potatoes and shredded bug meat

Weaver Stew is one of Hornet’s favorite dishes; a very common dish in Deepnest, it reminds her of home and her childhood. She loves it so much, in fact, that it’s very easy for Hollow to slip her an extra large portion to gently encourage her to sleep; after a large bowl she practically passes out. (If Quirrel can, he’ll slip in vegetables too, but if he adds in too much she gets grumpy.)

Tiso says 'Dont be mistaken. I call you princess as an insult (Bossy, know it all, the way you talk, etc) The fact you're actually a princess is pure coincidence (You certainly don't look like a princess to me...)'Hornet gives him a blank look and says 'I...appreciate your honesty?'

in my works, Tiso is one of the few people that can call Hornet ‘Princess’, but that’s because hes insulting her. She’s fine with it.

Hornet, Cloth, and Tiso are in greenpath. Cloth says to Tiso 'and the shopkeeper said thats not a weevil! thats my wife! A close up of Hornet, who says 'If I were to lose anyone else I've grown attached to I would metaphorically explode.'
Tiso, having not paid attention, asks 'Hornet that was the worst punchline Ive ever heard. Do you think I can fit bombs in my shield?' While Cloth looks between them, horrified.

Cloth and Tiso surviving is funny because it gives Hornet a semblance of peers
